     Growing up, I used to think, "My mom can do anything." It wasn't just the naive confidence of a child - it was the truth. If my mom (Sarah) can envision something, she can create it, and she'll do it to unmatched level of perfection.
     From woodworking and practicing law (hence Esquire-Press) to sewing intricate projects and baking the most elaborate birthday cakes, she's always had an incredible ability to master whatever she sets her mind to. 
     When I got married in the summer of 2024, we searched everywhere for wedding stationery that reflected the vision we had in mind. I dreamed of letterpress printing, gold foil details, wax seals, a custom monogram—the works. After coming up empty-handed, my mom did what she does best: she decided to make it herself.
    That decision led to a two-ton cast iron letterpress finding its way into our spare bedroom. True to form, she created the wedding suite of my dreams - every detail thoughtfully designed and beautifully executed.
    What started as a labor of love for my wedding turned into a desire to start a business together. Our hope is to create pieces that not only announce life's most important moments, but become keepsakes that are treasured for years to come.
